"The best time to have planted a tree is twenty years ago, the next best time is now!"
Chinese Proverb
We have all heard the old adage; "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail." While most originators agree with this statement, how many truly follow through and build a business plan?
It's January, 2008 and if you have failed to complete your plan, now is the best time to get started!
Tim Braheem, CEO of LoanToolBox has recorded a great interview regarding "Mortgage Planning for Mortgage Professionals."
Please take the time to listen to this valuable interview...your 2008 could depend on it:

Let's think of a few things:
1.) Focus on activities (controlable) not outcomes (controllable through activities).
2.) Let's presume the mortgage bid-ness (as the Odious Scott Tucker puts it) is gonna get harder.
3.) Let's presume that we must start with 3-5 simple actions that we can do on an iterated basis.
4.) Let's presume that we must wind up with 8-10 sources of loans that we hit at least once a month.
